Spring Booth at Lyla’s

Sharing is caring!

Hello Spring!

Truly, this is my favorite time of the year! I know many of you may still be swimming in snow (those bad storms in the Northeast this week!), but spring is in full force down here in Texas.

Unfortunately, I’ve been spending much of my time behind the computer these past few weeks and not out enjoying this gorgeous weather.

But, I am finally wrapping up some of the big projects I’ve been working on so I’m ready to get out and about more.

This week I was able to spend some time working on my local booth retail spaces.

They need a little freshening up and some spring touches added.  I also need to spend some major time out flea marketing, my inventory is getting a litte low!

Next week is Canton Trade Days weekend and my birthday, so I think I’ll treat myself to a day out junking as my gift to myself 🙂

I spent some time yesterday working on my booth space at Lyla’s Clothing, Decor & More, and I thought I would share it with you!

My husband found this cute little desk for me awhile back–complete with desk chair! You know, it’s hard to find chairs that are small enough to fit inside the leg space of these old desks, so to find this chair too was a major score.

I painted it in Fusion Mineral Paint Brook, which is a fresh, light blue/green color and re-stained the top with the Homestead House Driftwood Stain & Finishing Oil.

I found the distressed, white flower knobs at Hobby Lobby, and they look so cute paired with the light green of the desk.  And you see those 2 candlesticks on the desk? I literally painted those with the paint that was left in my paintbrush after I finished the desk–easiest makeover ever!

I have some stenciled pillows also that I think would make great gifts for spring wedding season.

And then lots of other little, spring touches.

Having this booth space at Lyla’s has been interesting–my usual found, vintage stuff doesn’t seem to sell there. So I’ve had to shop for newer, wholesale items, which has been a new experience for me!

I like though that it has a totally different look than my Antique Company Mall space, and it’s been fun to try out something new.

I love this galvanized metal bunny . . . Isn’t he cute?

And some moss bunnies too 🙂

I’ve found a line of rustic tote bags that I like, so there are a few of those or sale in my space too.

So if you’re stuck somewhere in the snow right now, still dreaming of spring, I’m sending these warm wishes your way 🙂

Thank you so much for stopping in with me today! Hope you can go out and find some uniques of your own!
