Fall is in the air my friends, which means it’s time to break out those fall decorations and spruce things up a bit!
To be 100% honest with you, I am not a fan of redecorating my entire house for the fall season. I usually just focus on creating a few vignettes around the house to bring in that autumn feel.
So this year, I worked up a new wreath for my front door and changed up the decor in my kitchen by putting together a fall mantle.
My goal was to use mostly what I already had on hand, and I think I did pretty well! Overall, I spent a little less than $50 for both projects, and almost all of that was on the floral supplies for the wreath.
I am a BIG believer in decorating on a budget! That’s one reason why I love so much using vintage and thrifted finds in my home decor. You can change them up and re-use them in so many different ways!
I was inspired by a look Noelle at Upsy Daisy Cottage pulled together over on Instagram. Using some of her flow blue china, she added in some deep orange tones for a really sophisticated fall display in her kitchen hutch.
Y’all know I love flow blue! I have been collecting it for years, but have never thought to incorporate it into a fall mantle or any other decor!
But paired together with some warm woods and a few pops of orange, I think it came together perfectly 🙂

YouTube Tutorial for a Fall Mantel
I have been spending a lot of time lately over at the Lost & Found YouTube channel! I have found a whole new community of painters and junk lovers there, and it’s been a lot of fun!
I filmed my process of making the fall wreath and pulling together the mantle display, you can watch the whole process here:

This post spoke to me. I am not a fan of fall colors, so I usually skip all of my design blogs at this time of year. What you've done here is SO much better!
