Welcome to 1st Friday Etsy Shop Feature Day!Sadly, I missed picking a shop for January’s feature day, but we’re back on track now and I have a fantastic shop to share with you today.
Meet Margaret, from Junk From My Trunk.I’m Margaret Luther from the great state of Wisconsin, home of the Green Bay Packers. I’ve been in the antiques business since the late 1980’s selling at many different venues. Fast forward to August of 2010 when I opened my Etsy shop JunkFromMyTrunk. I love selling there because I can work from home.
My merch is fresh to market having found most at local estate sales and flea markets.. I take an annual trip in spring to the fields of Brimfield MA for a week long girlfriend antiquing/junking shopping adventure. A good day of shopping is finding primitives, ironstone, quilts, rusty metal and anything galvanized.
My personal collections includes a passion for anything early patriotic, game boards, quilts and tiny baskets.
Happy customers is what keeps me always on the hunt for more treasures to add to my shop. Be sure to stop on over to my shop because you never know what you might find in my junk trunk.
I love Margaret’s shop because she stocks the kind of inventory that I just don’t find often down here in Texas.
She has some beautiful, antique textiles, like this hand-stitched blue quilt made with feed sack fabricsand these gorgeous Handkerchief Greeting cards, complete with vintage hankies in pristine condition. She also stocks some lovely toleware pieces, which I love for their perfect, vintage colors. Her collection of ironstone is impressive as well, including several pitchers and other serving items. See anything you like?
Well, now is a great time to shop Junk From My Trunk because Margaret has graciously offered a 10% discount to all Lost & Found readers for the month of February, using the promo code LOSTANDFOUND10. Yay!
And, Margaret also wanted to offer one of her “rusty metal and anything galvanized” items for a giveaway. It’s the perfect preparation for upcoming springtime . . .Wouldn’t you feel happy watering your flowers with this great vintage watering can?
The giveaway is open to residents of the US and will run through today, February 6th, until midnight Sunday, February 15th. Good luck, and thanks for stopping in for another 1st Friday Etsy Shop Feature Day!
