Welcome back to the Home Imagined Link Party!
It’s time for another party full of inspiration 🙂
If you’re new here . . .
My name is Melanie, and I am the owner of Lost & Found. Here on my blog, you’ll find furniture makeovers, DIY projects for your home, ideas for using vintage items as budget-friendly decor, and help for creative small business owners.
I’ll introduce the other 3 amazing ladies involved in our party here in just a minute 🙂
But for now, I invite you to link up your home-related posts and join our party, which runs every other Tuesday from 9 am Eastern time to Friday 5 pm Eastern time.
This week with Lost & Found
It was back-to-school week here! To celebrate, we went out to eat as a family the night before the first day. On our way back to the car afterward, we found a stray kitten in the parking lot.
Now I am not capable of leaving behind a stray animal . . . especially a baby one. So the kitten came home with us, which made for a little extra work around the house the first week of school!
The kids really wanted to keep her, but we have 2 cats and a dog already, and adding in another pet feels a bit overwhelming! Thankfully a friend of mine decided to adopt her, and on Friday she went to her new home.
In the Online Shop
Items from my Vintage Kitchen Collection are going fast!
I have a new collection coming later this week that’s fall -themed, I hope you can stop by the shop sometime to see what all treasures I have available 🙂

Home Imagined Link Party Features
We have each chosen 2 posts to feature from the last link party.
Up first is Missy with Sonata Home Design. She shared a fantastic diy lip scrub you can easily make at home. This project is for sure of my list of things to do this upcoming fall!
Nex up is a great project from Julie at My Wee Abode. She walks through how to easily update a tired, plain lampshade with a bit of sisal or jute cord.
Please stop by and visit Anna, Rachel, and Mary Jo to see what blogger projects they featured for the week!
