8 Coffee-Themed DIY Projects with Free Printable

Sharing is caring!

Are you a coffee lover? If so, today I have 8 DIY projects that are coffee-themed and I think you will enjoy.

Man, do I love coffee. It’s a rainy day outside while I write this post, and a having a hot cup of coffee here with me feels perfect.

I’m not a coffee snob–I don’t care if it’s cheap coffee, or expensive coffee. It doesn’t matter if it’s french press or Keurig.  I will even reheat a cup of coffee in the microwave, which real coffee connoisseurs tell me is the ultimate coffee no-no.

My love for coffee started in college. My university was in a very small town, and the only place to go study besides the campus library was a small coffee shop.

By the time I was a junior, I was really tired of being in the library all the time, so the coffee shop became my new study joint.  At first I would get a mocha or a cappuccino, but pretty quickly that became too expensive.  Basic, drip coffee was the most frugal option–with lots of cream and sugar mixed in of course.

And the rest is history.

I now drink my coffee black, and typically have 2 to 3 cups a day. Honestly, I would probably drink it all day if I knew it wouldn’t keep me up at night!

A hot cup of coffee though has become to me synonymous with relaxing.  If I’m sitting down to have a few minutes by myself with a book, tv show, or visiting with a friend, a cup of coffee completes the experience.

So as I enjoy my coffee during this rainy day today, let’s dive into these coffee-themed diy projects you can do at home.

Easy DIY Projects for Coffee Lovers

First up, Karen at Dogs Don’t Eat Pizza is a self-confessed fellow coffee lover.  She created her own coffee bar using a piece of reclaimed wood as a spot to hang mugs,  She also added shelving to store her related coffee supplies so it’s all in one place. You will for sure want to check out her full project for inspiration.

Here’s an adorable sign to hang in your new coffee bar, made by Nancy from Artsy Chicks Rule. She shares the free printable she design for this sign, and walks through how to diy a simple wood frame for it. So cute!

Cassie from Little Red Window doesn’t drink coffee, but her husband does! But because she is such an amazing wife, she embraced his love of coffee and made this super cute jar to store his coffee beans in using her Silhouette machine. Check out her blog post for full instructions and all the supplies you will need to make one yourself.

I love these adorable coffee mugs Susan at Organized 31 made, just using a Sharpie! That’s my kind of craft 🙂 She shares exactly what kind of Sharpie to use and how you can get the same look in her full tutorial.

Albion from Albion Gould created another great mug that every coffee lover needs. She used a Cricut and colored vinyl sheets to make the design, then attached it with transfer tape. If you need more instruction, she shares a thorough tutorial with photos.

Enjoy the projects....all on coffee....love it! I am also a reheater.....that isn't a word...I know....but coffee is too important to waste! I drink about 3 cups a day...and if I go out shopping with a friend, we usually stop for a cup or iced coffee. It keeps me away from sweets, as well. I just made a coffee (bar) really a space on top of my buffet in the kitchenette and was looking for something clever to either hang close to the space or put on an easel. Thanks so much. Fun ideas!
