Hi everyone! If you read all the way down to the bottom in my last post, then you have already seen the exciting news. If not, let me tell you!
I have been invited to join in with 3 other bloggers to co-host Friday’s Furniture Fix, a weekly Furniture-themed link party. Recently I was contacted by Lucy at Patina Paradise. She was looking for two new bloggers to join in to the party with her as co-hosts after a few of the other party hosts had to leave for various reasons. I didn’t hesitate to say yes, this is right up my alley!
I made a mistake in my post earlier this week though when I first mentioned this opportunity 🙁 I was so excited to be on board that I announced I would be a part of the actual link party THIS week . . . Well, I jumped the gun. Sorry! The link party is live this week (you can access it here), but I won’t have it live here on Lost & Found until next week. You will forgive me though, right?
Lucy started Friday’s Furniture Fix as a place for furniture flipping bloggers to gather after Miss Mustard Seed stopped her very popular furniture party, Furniture Feature Friday (you can read more about the start of Lucy’s party here). The funny thing is, I had the exact same idea when I saw that MMS would be discontinuing her party–Maybe I should start one here? Miss Mustard Seed’s party had been such a great place for me to showcase my makeovers and to connect with other flippers, I was really sad to see it go. I never did get my act together though to actually get a party going . . . But one found me! Yay!
So for this week you can link up and check out the features at the link I shared above, but from here on you can link up HERE every week!
The party will start on Friday morning at 9AM CST and end on Sunday evening at 11PM CST, and each week there will be 5 features!
I would love for you to get to know the other talented co-hosts of the FFF, so let me tell you a little about each.
Susie who blogs at The Chelsea Project is a dear soul who has been only been blogging for less than a year and is already making her mark as an accomplished furniture painter and stylist worthy of magazine features…
Nancy who has been with Friday’s Furniture Fix since the beginning, and she blogs at Slightly Coastal. Her style is classic, quirky and vibrant with a definite dash of coastal. She loves to transform her home one room at a time. You definitely need to check out her master bathroom makeover.
Lucy is the creator of the party and blogs at Patina Paradise. She has done a variety of creative jobs and her most recent love is painting furniture. She enjoys bringing her previous experience as a faux finisher into the realm of furniture transformations.
So now that you know the exciting news, make sure to come by next Friday at 9AM CST and add your furniture fixes to the party on any of our 4 blogs. We look forward to seeing what you have to share!
