Friday’s Furniture Fix #44

Hi everybody!  We’re back from our family beach vacation and we all managed to avoid getting any major sunburns (although one in our party did get stung by a jellyfish–yikes!).

It was a fantastic 7 days away, but now it’s time to get back to work!  I have been trying to get back into the swing of things this week . . . I’m still moving a little slow though.

But I am ready to kick-off week #44 of Fridays Furniture Fix!!

We have 3 featured projects to share with you this week!

First up is the Milk-Painted Pie Crust table from Lisa at The Purple Hydrangea.

Lisa used one of my favorite milk paint colors, MMS Flow Blue, and added a topcoat of white wax to add some depth to this cute little table.

The best part of the story is that this piece was donated to an auction that raised funds for breast cancer research.  Way to go Lisa!

Pie-Crust-Table-1

We also loved this sweet little table makeover from Retro Studio.  Fusion Mineral Paint updated this piece (I’m guessing Inglenook?) and a few gold accented touches here and there add a little flair. I could see it as the perfect nightstand in a little girl’s room.

Telefonipink

And I know I’ve already promo’d this piece on my Facebook page, but Lucy, Susie and I loved it so much we had to pick it as a feature here too.

Mary from Orphans with Makeup does it again, painting this oak washstand in Little Lamb, from the new Fusion Tones for Tots line. If you haven’t seen the full post of this dresser yet, you have to click through to see the rest of the photos.  You’re in for the most adorable surprise!!
