Friday’s Furniture Fix #42

Hi friends!! Welcome to Week #42 of Friday’s Furniture Fix!

FFF FINAL SQUARE

We’ve been having so much rain here lately it’s been challenging to get much painting done.  I hope that’s not the same story for you all though–I’m ready to see some more of your fantastic projects!

Just a friendly reminder of who your hosts are for the party . . . And if you’re not already, please follow us on the Social Media of your choice… you never know when we may have you in the spotlight!

Let’s get started with this week’s featured projects!

First up is this drop-dead gorgeous navy blue chest from Patricia at The Wood Spa.  These old, solid-wood chests have such beautiful lines and details, they just look so tired!  Patricia shows how a fresh, new color can make these tired pieces shine again. I love the detail too of the gold nailhead trim, and you should definitely check out her post to read about the special way she applied her dark wax to get this look!

Kandice from Just The Woods linked up her painted dresser with “surprise drawers.” I appreciate how since this is larger piece, she kept the main body color neutral, and used the interior as the place to toss in a little something extra. Wanna see that little extra on the “surprise drawers?” You gotta visit her post!!

Last up for the week is this adorable side table from Linda at The Home I Create. Y’all know I love blue, so it’s no surprise I was drawn to this little table.

Linda took a survey on her blog and Instagram account to ask her readers what color she should paint this table, and most people said black. She decided to go instead with this smoky blue though since she thought it would coordinate better with the rest of her decor. I am so glad she did! I love how it fits into the rest of her beautiful room.
