Friday’s Furniture Fix #39

Hi friends! How has your week been?  My neck and back is on the mend (thankfully!) although the doctor still says no extra work or heavy lifting for at least another week.  So I guess I still have an excuse to do some extra laying around 🙂

I hope you all have had a more productive week than mine, I’m ready to see your fantastic projects in this week’s link-up! With that said, welcome to Friday’s Furniture Fix #39!

This week we have three fantastic features to share with you!

First is a patio dining set makeover from Studio Paint Design. General Finishes Milk Paint and a poly finish gave this set new life.  Wouldn’t you love to have a relaxing, outdoor dinner on this set?

Shoppe No. 5 found a chair destined for the trash and turned it into a perfectly, shabby piece.  Debra new she could bring out the beauty of the carved details of the chair again, and she did just that by using chalk paint, dark wax, and some drop cloth fabric!

Last for this week is the TV console makeover from The Wood Spa.  Patricia layered on several different colors of paint and then used this amazing technique of scraping a wire brush across the painted finish to get this totally unique look. You should definitely check out her post to get the full how-to!
