Welcome everybody to Friday’s Furniture Fix #38! How has the week been? I’ve been dealing with some neck pain and was told by my doctor today no heavy lifting for the next month . . . Hmm, that may be a little tough in my line of work!
Just a friendly reminder of who your hosts are for the party . . . And if you’re not already, please follow your us on the Social Media of your choice… you never know when we may have you in the spotlight!

Let’s take a look at this week’s features!
First up is a desk makeover from The Navage Patch. Greg and his wife are working through their home, replacing their old Ikea furniture with higher quality, vintage pieces. This desk is their newest find and bringing it back to life was a real labor of love! You have to check out the post to see how hard Greg worked to bring back the beauty of the wood top.
Next up is the antique dining set makeover from Tara at The Tattered Rabbit. General Finishes milk paint and gel stain helped Tara work this beautiful antique table into her decor scheme. Visit her blog to see the full walk through of her project.
Another awesome makeover this week comes from Holly at McCall Manor. Holly had to strip off 5 layers of paint to reveal the original wood on this chest. I think you will agree that her finished piece is stunning!
Suzanne from The Painted Drawer always produces fantastic makeovers, and this white china cabinet is no exception. She calls this piece “Dreamy in White,” and the finished cabinet does look perfectly dreamy!
Terri from Designing Wilder shared a very impressive sofa table upcycle this week. She had been on the hunt for a coffee table, but came across a sofa-height table instead. What’s a girl to do? Cut off and re-attach the beautiful legs, of course! See how she made the height adjustments in her post.
And last this week is the Dandelion Hand-Painted Dresser from Brooke at Start at Home. I love her hand-painted design, and how a few of the little dandelion pieces are floating off into the wind. Such a fun, whimsical piece!
