Welcome to the weekend and another week of Friday’s Furniture Fix!
We had a great party last week–a wonderful turnout and so many beautiful furniture makeovers to look through. I would love to hear what pieces caught your eye.
Be sure to note that the party has moved back to opening on Thursday nights an 9 pm CST. We wanted to give a little more time for everyone to get their great makeovers in before the weekend rush comes.
Unfortunately, this week we have to say goodbye to Suzanne of The Painted Drawer. She has some other blog and family obligations and will be taking a break from co-hosting the party.
This will also be Nancy’s last week of co-hosting. She will also be stepping down for a bit to focus on some other aspects of her blog and personal work. We will miss them both!

Are you ready to see this week’s features?
Our first feature is Suzie’s pick, which comes from Christina at Phoenix Restorations. Christina hit it out of the park again this week with a modern styled dresser. A glossy coat of lilac paint turned this tired piece into an adorable nursery changing table. I think we all agree that Christina’s work is amazing!
Lucy’s pick this week is the Thrifted Made Over Desk from Vintage, Paint, and More. You will never believe how this desk started out! Cathy and her son turned it into a perfect piece for her home office. Check out the post for details of how they made all the adjustments.
For Nancy’s final pick, she chose the Gray and Pink Buffet from The Wood Spa. That bright pop of pink inside the buffet is stunning!
I knew as soon as I saw this piece linked up this week it was going to be my pick . . . the Painted China Cabinet from Tammy at The Tattered Rabbit. I saw this piece on Tammy’s blog a few weeks back and it was love at first sight 🙂 She artfully added color to specific areas of this cabinet to better highlight the beautiful trim and bring this piece back to life. I think it’s fantastic.
For the most clicked link this week we had a tie! The first piece is the chic gray cabinet from Thirty-Eight Street.
And the second piece was the made over drum table from Sweet Pea.
Y’all must have had dark furniture on the brain this week! Both of these pieces look very glam with their new sleek, dark finish. Way to go ladies!
