Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Meeeeeeee . . . . . Happy Birthday to Me 🙂
Yes, today is the day I begin my official “downhill slide” towards 40 (meaning I turned 36, in case my metaphor was too vague–haha). What special thing am I doing to celebrate, you ask? Well, I’m meeting up with you for this week’s Friday’s Furniture Fix!
Be sure to note that the party has moved back to opening on Thursday nights an 9 pm CST. We wanted to give a little more time for everyone to get their great makeovers in before the weekend rush comes.
If you’re not already, please follow your FFF hosts on the Social Media of your choice… you never know when we may have you in the spotlight!
Now that the birthday singing is all done, let’s take a look at this week’s features!
This week we will start with Suzanne. Her pick was this Mix-and-Match French Style Seat by From Evija with Love. I tell you, I am super impressed with how Evija was able to marry these two chairs into one, cohesive bench. This girl has some major skills! And be sure to check out her post to read the story about where she found these awesome chairs for free.
Lucy’s pick this week is another impressive makeover from Sue at A Purdy Little House. Sue tried out chalk paint for the first time and turned a basic round oak table into a creative clock-themed piece. I love her method of transferring the numbers also–be sure to check it out!
We have a theme this week with Susie and Nancy’s picks . . . See if you can figure it out 🙂 We’ll start with Susie’s pick– The Blush Campaign Dresser from Phoenix Restorations. Who wouldn’t love this glam little dresser in their space? If you’re dying to know what the color is, you’ll have to check out Christina’s post!
Speaking of that lovely pinky color, Nancy’s pick is finished in the same color, also from Christina at Phoenix Restorations. This vintage Henredon dresser looks stunning with new lucite pulls, which were a real labor of love for Christina to get a hold of!
And my pick this week is the Workbench turned Outdoor Station from Coco at The Crowned Goat. I love how Coco added lighting and a chalkboard to really take this makeover to the next level. Wouldn’t you love this on your back patio? Check out her post to see how she put this together, step-by-step, so you can make your own 🙂
The most clicked link this week was the Farmhouse Style Hutch Makeover from Sweet Pea. Fresh white paint brings this outdated hutch back to life and makes it the perfect addition to Paula’s kitchen . . . So perfect in fact, she just might keep it!
