Spring is officially here and Easter is just around the corner . . . I hope you all are enjoying the warming weather!
You know what other season has just arrived?  Furniture Painting Season!  Yep, time to get out in that garage and paint some pieces while it’s warm enough for the paint to work and cool enough to not get heat stroke 🙂
So on that note, welcome to Week #32 of Friday’s Furniture Fix!
Be sure to note that the party has moved back to opening on Thursday nights an 9 pm CST. We wanted to give a little more time for everyone to get their great makeovers in before the weekend rush comes.

Let’s take a look at this week’s features!
Nancy’s pick this week is this French-themed armoire makeover from Studio Paint Design. Â Layers of chalk paint in various colors create amazing depth and texture on this piece. Â Check out her post for a walk-through on how you can create this look.
This week, Susie picked a post from Mary Beth’s Place featuring a whole host of gorgeous makeovers finished this month. Â My favorite of all of them is this pair of campaign-style nightstands. Â Be sure to visit the post though to see several other incredible pieces!
Lucy’s pick this week is from Joan at Scavenger Chic. Â Joan shows how she modified a desk, which she originally built from salvaged materials, so that it could have a new home in her son’s house. Her creativity and woodworking skills are impressive!
Suzanne’s pick this week is a milk paint beauty from D.D.’s Cottage and Design. Â This little side table went from plain to primitive with some MMS milk paint in a great, teal color.
And for me, I had to go with the Painted Gray Dresser from My Creative Days.  This vintage piece is painted in Soapstone by Fusion Mineral Paint–which is my favorite Fusion color!! Lindsay liked the color so much too she decided to keep the dresser instead of selling it 🙂
The most clicked link of the week belongs to the beautiful, antique walnut dresser salvaged by Grandma’s House DIY. Â This piece was lovingly restored and is absolutely gorgeous with its new, fresh finish. Â Great job Tarah!
